General OverviewWe offer international medical insurance policies for seafarers traveling outside the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of international assistance companies. Ship Crew Travel Insurance is a plan that protects you from certain financial risks and losses that may occur while traveling. These losses can be minor or may require medical emergency assistance abroad.
Insurance Risks:- Subject to the insured paying the relevant insurance premium, the insurer provides coverage for the following risks, provided that such events occur within the insurance territory specified in the insurance contract during the insurance period:
- 1. Sudden illness of the insured, meaning an unforeseen condition arising unexpectedly during the validity of the insurance contract, which requires immediate medical intervention;
- 2. Accident suffered by the insured, meaning an unforeseen event causing injury (bodily harm) or death of the insured;
- 3. Accidental death of the insured.
- 4. Loss or damage of documents and/or baggage.
- Expenses covered by the insurer:
- Medical expenses
- Medical transportation expenses
- Repatriation expenses after death
- Insurance duration: up to 12 months
