1. When an accident occurs, it is essential to call 102 and request the presence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (DİN) / State Traffic Police (DYP) personnel at the scene.
2. If there are injured individuals as a result of the accident, notify emergency services at 103, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (FHN) at 112, and any other necessary agencies to save lives.
3. Immediately report the incident to the insurance company that covers the damaged vehicle as required by law.
• The insurance certificate includes the insurer's hotline numbers.
• If you do not know the insurer's hotline numbers, use the 9707 SMS service.
4. Do not leave the scene of the accident. Keep the damaged property in its condition immediately following the accident and present it to the insurance company (or its representative).
5. Within 3 business days from the time verbal information about the incident is provided, request the written insurance claim form from the insurance company, complete it, and submit it to the insurance company immediately.
